Before purchasing the IMORDEN S-60C, I have been doing weeks of research on which steadicam/glidecam to purchase. As a beginner in videography/cinematography, this is always a scary decision to make since you don't really know what you're getting yourself into.
I ended up going with the S-60C based on its price and reviews. I was still a little nervous about my purchase not being sure if it was going to be all it was hyped up to be, but I stuck with it and waited for the product before I made any opinions.
I then received my package from IMORDEN a day later, and I have to say that I was VERY impressed with how well everything was packaged in the box. I grabbed my camera and went to work with assembly.
Before receiving the product I was worried that setting it up would have been very difficult. However once I got it in my hands, I was blown away with how easy the set up was. Remember, I'm a beginner with no experience with steadicam/glidecams, so with how easy the set up was is a very big deal.
After properly balancing the S-60C, I went to town with making videos.
It most definitely was a learning process on how to properly maneuver the S-60C, but over time I got used it, and can't imagine what I'd be doing without it.
It's been a month or so since I've first got it, and so far I've shot several music videos and I've been getting great feedback, with people asking "How did you get the camera so steady?" Thank you IMORDEN!
The IMORDEN S-60C is most definitely the right product to learn how to use a steadicam/glidecam. It's great for beginners, and gets a lot of compliments from experienced users! I will be referring others to IMORDEN from here on out!
